Brother Can You Spare a Dime?

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

From the deepest, darkest depths of Emocore’s 90s underbelly we pluck for your edification ‘Admiral’ featuring none other than Karma To Burn’s very own Right Honourable Lord William Mecum III on the drums

Admiral – 1st 7″
1) Brother Can You Spare a Dime
2) Horns Lay Silent
3) Seasonal

Admiral – Revolving and Loading (2nd 7″)
1) Revolving and Loading
2) Fit
3) Meter and Rule

Yes, on the drums! Here’s the proof:

He’s quite good.. check out “Seasonal” if ye doubt me.

This stuff was, I believe recorded at the now legendary Inner Ear Studio in Washington. They were contemporaries of such post-hardcore luminaries as Fugazi, Jawbreaker and Sunny Day Real Estate… members of the band also went on to play in Navio Forge, Hoover and Crown Hate Ruin…

… but most importantly Will went on to not Drum in K2B.. and that’s what matters most right?

(P.S. Thanks to Eric’s Little Back Star for making this stuff be on the interwebs)
